Veterans Day Concert, Monday, November 5, 2012 at 7:00 PM

The Medina Community Band, under the baton of Marcus Neiman, will present its annual Veterans Day Concert at 7 p.m. Nov. 5 at at St. Francis Xavier Church, 606 East Washington Street, Medina.

There is no admission charge for the program and free parking is available

Featured speakers will be: The Rev. Tom Stock, Medina St. Francis Xavier Church; David W. Taylor, Colonel, United States Army Special Forces, Retired; CPT Matthew Boose, Ohio Army National Guard; SFC Gregory Habrat, Ohio Army National Guard; and Medina Mayor Dennis Hanwell.

The Medina Community Band program includes:

Star Spangled Banner (Key/Sousa)

Liberty Fanfare (Williams/Curnow)

The Blue and the Gray (Grundman)

Invincible Eagle March (Sousa)

Voice of America (King)

God Bless America (Berlin/Leidzen)

Armed Forces Salute (arr. Lowden)

Stars and Stripes Forever (Sousa)

Organizers will have boxes available for those interested in making a donation to collect nonperishable canned goods or monetary donations to benefit the Saint Vincent DePaul Society. Additional parking is available at 600 East Smith Road and 620 East Smith Road.
